EXTEND your painting practice with a 7 day Painting Intensive
Hi, I’m Lisa Chandler. I love to paint and I am excited to share my workshops especially for painters in my light-filled art studio overlooking the tiny seaside town of Collingwood in stunning Golden Bay at the top of the South Island, New Zealand. Nestled on the hill, amongst native bush and with views over the Collingwood estuary and mountains, our home is the ideal venue for inspiration, creativity and artistic development.
My workshops are perfect for you if you answer YES to any of these questions . . .
Do you feel like you are currently in a creative rut? I can assist to develop and extend your art practice through my carefully designed workshops. Let me inspire you with insights into the contemporary painting scene, new techniques and motivational tools to re-energise your painting practice.
Is fear holding you back from experimenting in the studio? I offer strategies to give you the courage to work through this common emotion. I am supportive and caring but I will also challenge and push you to take risks with your painting.
Do you feel like you need to escape the normal stuff for awhile? Then come and join me in beautiful Collingwood. Our half acre section of native bush is crisscrossed with bush paths; hammocks, bean bags and benches offer secret hideaways for those moments of relaxing contemplation. Couple that with delicious and healthy(ish) home cooked meals, and non-stop art talk, and you’ll go home feeling refreshed and inspired.
Do you feel like you need a break from the solitary space of your studio? I know as painters we all love the solitary space of our studios but I also strongly believe in the importance and value of connecting, sharing with, and supporting fellow painters.
My PAINTING workshops are all about living and breathing art and creativity 24/7 – they offer an intense learning experience in a supportive environment, an artists support group, a chance to escape your daily routine and an opportunity to feed your creativity.
For painters who want to explore, escape and extend . . . I look forward to welcoming you to my studio soon,
