Many thanks for your excellent and inspirational workshop and your generosity of artistic knowledge plus yummy meals! When I returned home my mind was still going in circles thinking about all the changes I would make in my art practice.  It is always a very enjoyable experience working beside other artists, seeing them work out their problems, until they reach a happy result. Not worrying about food preparation and cooking was a bonus – especially when it was so good! Thank you too, David, for your behind the scenes work.  A great team effort.

“A weekend at Art Haven with tuition from Lisa Chandler is inspirational. I learnt so much in a relaxed atmosphere, with wonderful catering and beautiful surroundings thrown in. Perfection. And I meant every word of that! We revelled in your good cooking and it was so good not to be distracted by providing our own. Thank you too for that support from your partner (to my shame his name escapes me!) I told him he deserved a cut!! Loved your clear instructions and positive comments. First and foremost thanks for an unforgettable, great weekend

I attended a weekend art workshop with Lisa in Nelson, New Zealand. It was a well organised, stimulating and enjoyable course. Lisa is very generous with sharing her knowledge, techniques and expertise. She is also a valuable critic, which is always delivered in a positive manner. This course gave me the confidence to continue developing my new painting skills
